Platform Owner
The owner of the JudgeMate platform is Kapros, operated by Kacper Szymański. Kapros is responsible for the content of the JudgeMate platform and for processing information collected on this platform. JudgeMate is used by the owner and other entities that have acquired the right to use the platform, to organize and manage the process of evaluating results within the conducted sports competitions.
Sources of data processed on the JudgeMate platform include:
- The participant registration platform, where competitors, by creating their accounts, consent to the processing of their personal data both for the purpose of result evaluation and publication of competition results.
- The sports competition office, where competitors, by registering for the competition, give written consent to the processing of their personal data.
- Import of personal data from sports event organizers who have independently conducted registrations for competitions and obtained consents for the processing of participants' personal data.
JudgeMate processes personal data in accordance with applicable law. To ensure the security of the transferred data, various protection measures are used, and the data are regularly checked and archived. Access to participants' personal data is limited and only possible for employees for whom it is necessary to perform their duties related to the process of evaluating and publishing competition results.
In the context of the GDPR, effective from May 25, 2018, we present the manner and purpose of processing personal data and the rights of the persons concerned, in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

Personal Data
The following personal data is processed on the JudgeMate platform: Public: First and last name, gender, city, start number, nationality, age category, club, sports results, avatar. Available to the administrator: Email address, phone number, registered results. Users have the ability to view and edit their personal data. There is also the possibility of their removal at the user's request.
Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and the Polish Act on the Protection of Personal Data. The purpose of processing is to display competition results (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) and based on the user's consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). Requirement to Provide Personal Data

Users have the right to: access their data, edit it, request the restriction of data processing, request the removal of consent for data processing (the so-called right to be forgotten) and to lodge complaints with the supervisory authority (President of the Personal Data Protection Office).
Cookies
- Cookies, also known as 'cookies', are computer data, primarily text files, that are stored in the end device of the JudgeMate platform user. They usually contain the name of the website they come from, their storage time on the device, and a unique number.
- The operator of the JudgeMate platform is the entity that places and accesses cookies on the user's device.
- Purposes of using cookies:
- Creating statistics to understand how users use the site, enabling optimization of its structure and content.
- Maintaining the session of the logged-in administrator, eliminating the need for re-login on each subpage.
- Within the JudgeMate platform, two main types of cookies are used: 'session' (temporary, disappearing after logging out or closing the browser) and 'permanent' (kept for a specified time or until they are deleted by the user).
Storage of Personal Data
The personal data of JudgeMate users are safely stored for the entire duration of the platform's operation. They can be deleted at the user's request, who expresses a wish to 'be forgotten'.
